The pool at Living Memorial Park will open for the summer season on June 20, 2026, at 1 p.m. and close on August 16, 2026, at 6 p.m. There will be reduced hours the weeks of August 3 and August 10.

Swimming Pool Schedule

General Swim: Monday–Friday, 1 to 4 p.m.

General Swim: Saturday & Sunday, 1 to 6:30 p.m.

Swim Team & Parent/Tot: Monday–Friday, 4 to 6 p.m.

Family & Teen Swim: Monday–Friday, 6 to 8 p.m.

Lap Lane is open during general swim & family/teen swim hours

Swim Lessons: Monday–Friday, 9 to 11:15 a.m.

Day Camp: Monday–Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.

NOTE: The pool will be closed for public swimming during swim team home meets. The dates of those meets are TBD.

Swim Lessons

Swim lessons are held at the Living Memorial Park Swimming Pool. To be eligible for Swim Lessons, children must be 3 years old by June 20, 2026.

Swim Lessons are primarily for Brattleboro residents. Non-Brattleboro residents will be accepted if space is available. Due to the new Red Cross System for lessons, each child must be tested in the pool before being placed in a class. Due to the high volume of registrations, we will not be doing pool passes or signing children up for multiple sessions at this time.

Non-Brattleboro Residents

$45 per session for Brattleboro residents

$60 per session for non-Brattleboro residents

Brattleboro Swim Team

Participants must be able to swim the length of the pool without stopping. Swimmers will now be able to pay online through the Brattleboro Swim Topia website.

Swimming Pool Eligibility Policies

• If you are under the age of 10, you must be accompanied by someone 12 years of age or older to swim during General Swim Times.
• During Parent/ Tot Swim, participants will be allowed to swim only in the 3 foot end of the pool.
• To be eligible to swim during Family & Teen Swim, you must be entering the 7th grade or be with someone 18 years or older.
